I am Cynthia Powell: a Christian, wife, mom to 3 boys and owner of Chicks & Cubs.  I started Chicks & Cubs in 1999 because I wanted to be home with my son and still have some sort of work interest. It is because of the buisness that I am here on the internet. Otherwise, I would probably be UNPLUGGED for the most part. 

I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he died in our place, for our sins. I believe that He rose again and is in heaven with His Father preparing a place for His brothers and sisters (Christians). I am the worst of sinners yet forgiven by God’s grace. My goal is to become more and more and more like Christ. I attend Central Church of Christ which offers sermons to view online.

 I am a wife of more than 15 years. My husband and I met in college (GA Tech) through my sorority (AGD). We were married 7 years before the birth of our first son. We are a great team in this race called marriage.

I am a mom of 3 boys. There are 8 years between the oldest and youngest. It is the hardest job in the world but the most important job God has intrusted to me. I am amazed at how my children are so different from one another. And, I am constantly amazed at what things are genitic.

And I am a business owner of Chicks & Cubs. It is a love of mine. My products and the process of being in business are a joy. It is my outlet. It is what I do for myself.
