My daughter, 15yrs, does the dishes (dishwasher), sweeps and mops kitchen floor, and wipes table and counters. My 12yr old son empties all the trash cans, takes garbage to the curb, and cleans the bathroom. My 7yr old son picks up the living room and playroom, vacuums, and organizes the shoes in the foyer. This is in addition to keeping their rooms tidy. I do not pay them an "allowance" for their chores, as I believe they need to do their part as do I. I do give them money when needed though. They have all been doing chores since they were little. I have to say it's very rarely a struggle. :)

My daughter is 2 and doesn't have any set chores yet, but always helps clean up after herself, and tries to 'help' where she can.

Chore charts are fantastic! I just recently started to use the chore chart, but incorporated behaviors into the chart. I have two toddler boys that need quite a bit of help in the area of behavior...LOL
They get very excited about the prospect of getting rewarded for "good deeds".

This is a great idea. I've been looking for a chore chart and will use yours as a sample. My husband was raised where he learned how to do laundry and cook at an early age. He is the one who taught me how to do many things because his mom raised him this way. I was raised where I didn't have to do chores. Too many men are sent out on their own as mama's boys and don't know how to do anything for themself. Kudos to you for making their future wives very happy and thankful to you:)

By the way great new website!

My 10 year old son has weekly chores. He takes out the trash on Tuesday and brings the can back in the yard on Wednesday.

Once a week he has to clean up his bathroom and has to help clean up the yard.

He also has to vacuums onces a week the kids living room.

My four year old has to help pick up her messes daily. Other than that she does not do much.
